Exhibitions Palazzo Albergati: I LOVE LEGO and ANDREA PAZIENZA

I LOVE LEGO
Palazzo Albergati, Via Saragozza 28 Bologna, from 7 May to 26 September 2021

In an interplay of colours and perspectives and sceneries meticulously reproduced in dozens of square metres, I LOVE LEGO presents 7 fantastic worlds built with the world's most famous bricks on a reduced scale: from the frenzy of the contemporary city to the legendary adventures of pirates; from medieval landscapes to the splendours of Ancient Rome in a faithful reproduction of the Forum of Augustus; from the conquest of space to the evocative reproduction of an Arctic landscape and the surprising scenario of Liberation.

Constructions and more. Through a "character hunt" - among buildings and palaces, galleons and temples - the visitor is invited to look for famous (and not so famous) characters hidden inside the installations: from Harry Potter to Darth Vader, there are several surprise guests included in the various installations that accompany the visit to all those who want to have fun discovering the bricks.

ANDREA PAZIENZA. FINO ALL’ESTREMO.
Palazzo Albergati, Via Saragozza 28 Bologna, from 7 May to 26 September 2021

Twenty-four years after the last anthological exhibition dedicated to him in 1997 in Bologna, the creative genius of Andrea Pazienza comes to Palazzo Albergati. The cartoonist whose cartoons changed the world of comics forever moved to the "Two Towers" in 1974 to enrol at the DAMS and in 1977 began his career on the pages of "Alter Alter", outlining until 1984 the features of his most creative and stimulating period.

On show are more than 100 works from the archives of those closest to him, starting with his artistic production that rests on the three pillars Pentothal, Zanardi and Pompeo.
